I'm sitting here drinking Pomegranate Raspberry Green Tea, which by the way is my favourite tea. It has me slightly confused though, because they mix Chamomile and Green tea together, which can be compared to an oxymoron since Green Tea has caffeine in it and Chamomile is supposed to help you sleep. Maybe that has something to do with the hot flashes I am having right now. Or that could just be from the sugar that I ate today... ya, it's probably that, never mind.
Woah, I did not come on here to write about tea. I have a habit of doing that. Talking about tea that is. I don't even really like tea. But I drink it. True story. I'll stop now.
So, life.
Every single day I think about blogging. Yet every single day life happens.
Some people may think that since I don't "technically" have a job, that my life is boring. It's not. It's the opposite actually.
It's kind of a strange life, because I am about as close to being a stay at home, homeschooling, mom without actually being one. I'm a stay at home, homeschooling big sister. There. And it's busy.
My days melt together teaching three different students in three different grades (two in high school), keeping up with my fitness, cleaning up after a house full of busy little (and big!) people, taking my turn with making meals, playing hockey with the family, looking after the milking cows and herd of cattle, and of course, I try to find time to recharge every now and then.
I squeeze in journal writings, spending time relaxing with my older siblings, tickling the little ones, babysitting nieces and nephews.
Family, fun, work, play. Life.
As much as I want to say that I plan to come on here and write every day, I know that life will get in the way, and that's ok. (see, I'm sounding like that busy stay-at-home mom again... :)
But I've made a few changes in my life lately, and I do, sincerely plan to write more often.
So, here is to new beginnings. (I'm raising a cup of tea to this)
May it stick this time. :)
